Reachnet Transfer Will Include HughesNet
BroadbandNet has requested the Orion Satellite Systems make a transfer with all of its satellite customers. This transfer will be effective immediately, and take place over two months. To comply with this request, Orion is transferring customers to a comparable service, from their current service to a satellite service under Reachnet, their consumer brand. This entails a new Hughes Network Systems modem that is up-to-date and technologically savvy, along with each customer receiving a service call.
This transition will bring approximately 500 active customers, according to the Managing Director of Orion, Andrew Johnson, to Reachnet. The customers will find that their new service exceeds their old one, including technology and amazing plans.
Johnson said “Orion has worked closely with the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, and will be reviewing each of the customer sites to identify the best migration solution. Where no alternative solutions exist eligible customers will have access to the upgraded service and performance guarantees offered by the ABG program. With the support of the program, we are aiming to avoid any cost to the customer as a consequence of the transfer, ensuring the investment in existing infrastructure is preserved.”
For all the customers who are not eligible for the program, not to worry. These customers will have other migration options, and these options will keep them current. Customers can receive comparable services, depending on their location and specifics depending on their situation. With HughesNet as an option, you can’t go wrong.
