HughesNet Backs Up Enterprises

HughesNet is at it again. Now HughesNet is offering a backup network solution for enterprises. This is a backup solution for primary networks, designed to use the satellite platform and accomplish 100 percent with HughesNet.

Krishna, “Recent industry estimates by Gartner show that downtime caused by network vulnerabilities is likely to triple by 2009 for firms that don’t take proactive steps. While every organization today has some kind of backup in place for the network, most often both the primary and the backup have a common point of failure (CPE, last mile infrastructure etc.). It is, therefore, imperative for organizations to look a fully diverse backup option that can completely eliminate downtime and at an affordable cost (without mirroring the primary network costs).
