Perez Hilton vs. Will.i.am - What Really Happened?

If you've joined the online social networking revolution, you may have received the following Tweets from Perez Hilton between the hours of 1 and 2 a.m. this morning.

"I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please."

"I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."

"Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel."

The LA-based gossip blogger, who graduated from NYU with a Bachelor's degree in drama, was reportedly attacked by Will.i.am in Toronto last night. Since Perez' public outcry, Black Eyed Peas' singer Will.i.am has denied the charges. Both parties have released statements (well, videos), which can be found on the Internet. Who is at fault here?
