Google Set to Offer Innovative Voice Services for Consumers
America's #1 Internet search engine has developed another innovative service, Google Voice (formerly GrandCentral). Consumers are not yet able to access this service, which allows users to route several phone numbers - work, mobile, home, etc - to a single number using VoIP technology. Google Voice offers classic features such as call screening, voicemail and directory assistance. What is the best part of this service? The advanced features offered include: listen-in service, allowing you to listen to a voice message while it's recording; voicemail transcripts, which provide a text version of your voice messages; personalized greetings, allowing you to offer a unique greeting for each caller; call recording, which lets you record and save conversations. This great online service also allows you to do the following:
